Launch Notice of IT Service Desk Ticket Form in OA System
Please be informed that a new form “IT Service Desk Ticket Form” is launched in OA system to replace the previous “IT Service Desk (OTRS)” system for incident tickets. IT is no longer using OTRS system to manage helpdesk ticket. Please use this form to raise ticket to IT in OA system.
What is the form about?
The form is used when you encounter issue/ error/ bug/ enquiries when using existing IT systems.
Why should we have this form instead of the previous system?
The fill in process of this form is supposed to be more efficient than the previous system. It is easier for users and IT to keep track the progress.
Where can I find the form?
After login to OA system, click “More” under “My Template”
Click “IT Service Desk Ticket Form” under “IT” folder
Does it difficult to fill in the form?
There are basically only 4 mandatory fields: System, Region/ Project, Module and Description. IT will supplement other information if needed.
